There's more to hypnotic talking, selling and motivating than you'd think. Its more about calibrating yourself to someones unconscious. Its eye accessing cues, body language, breathing, mannerisms, marked out words and more. Its having the ability to observe their thinking style. When they pause and when they don't pause. Its dropping unconscious suggestions at the right time. I like to compare it to the interrogator who sits on one side of the table, facing another person. You have to get on the other side of the table. I was watching a detective interrogate a suspect the other day. And she paced his experience and then dropped him into an even deeper experience. Here's what she said "If I was in your shoes (Pacing Experience) I would be beside myself in pain (pacing emotion) and I would want to relieve myself (Pacing unconscious information) of this terrible burden. The suspects head dropped (observation) and he went on to confess. All he needed was the right nudge, at the right time, and he buckled. These types of events are perfect for studying body language, timing, hypnotic suggestion, and tons more of communicaiton techniques.
